Greetings from the Guinn Center,
Our latest work highlights several important developments in Nevada policy. This month, we published an overview of key provisions in the omnibus education bill, SB 460 of the 2025 legislative session, developed an explainer on Medicaid in Nevada, including the impacts of recent federal changes, and released a report on the increase of electric vehicle registrations and their impact on fuel tax collections.
Looking ahead, our Interim Director of Economic and Fiscal Policy, Mark Krmpotic, is working on a new report examining Nevada’s legislatively approved budget, and our Director of Health and Social Policy, Pierron Tackes, will publish a brief on Food Insecurity next month.
