The Guinn Center's 2025 Research Survey

August 29, 2024

Kristine Caliger, Assistant Director

With Labor Day weekend approaching — and with it, the “unofficial” end to summer — we’re getting ready to welcome a busy fall season. Starting this September, we’ll release at least one major research project every month, including several highly-anticipated reports like our study on housing affordability and our analysis of Nevada’s early child care systems.

It’s also time to look ahead and determine our research priorities for the coming year.

We’re often asked how we choose the topics we study. The answer is two-fold. About half of our research comes in the form of specific government requests. The other half is inspired by you — Nevada’s citizens, policy implementors, and decision-makers. Our goal as an organization is to listen, learn, and understand your concerns and respond with trusted, data-driven research that yields nonpartisan, actionable policy recommendations — we can’t fulfill this mission without you.

One of the ways we receive your vital input is through our annual research survey, which is ready for your responses today. Please consider participating so we are better equipped to address Nevada’s most pressing needs.

The survey will be open until October 1, 2024, and we encourage you to share it with your networks. The more responses we receive, the clearer our path will be.

Thank you for your support, partnership, and honest feedback. Feel free to contact us at info@guinncenter.org if you have any questions.
