Statewide Ballot Initiatives for Nov 2016 Election

The Guinn Center has prepared a series of Fact Sheets in advance of the 2016 General Election in November. The Fact Sheets discuss the questions for that will appear on the election ballot in Nevada: Background Check Initiative, Initiative to Tax and Regulate Marijuana, Energy Choice Initiative, Medical Patient Tax Relief Act, Fuel Revenue Index, and Washoe County 1-Sales Tax. The infographics in this Photo Essay are meant to provide a brief snapshot of each initiative, its purpose, and its possible effects.

Question Four on the ballot, the Medical Patient Tax Relief Act, seeks to provide a sales and use tax exemption for durable medical, oxygen delivery and mobility enhancing equipment.
